Bureau Veritas and MolyWorks Companion on Inexperienced Options for Maritime


Strategic partnership to advertise Additive Manufacturing, sustainable steel powders, and inexperienced providers for the maritime business

Singapore, 6 December 2021 – Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore Singapore (BV M&O) and MolyWorks Supplies Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) geared toward selling additive manufacturing via a number of initiatives that may help innovation, decarbonisation and sustainability within the maritime, offshore, and renewable vitality sectors.

The signing ceremony occurred on the Singapore BV M&O Workplace and was attended by representatives from each firms.

The MoU will see each events reinforce their collaborative efforts to advertise sustainable enterprise alternatives, together with maritime innovation, pilot trials and different initiatives.

This announcement follows the latest opening by BV of a Singapore-based Centre of Excellence – named innovation, Centre for Various and Renewable Power (iCARE) – by which BV goals to extend the collaborative efforts between the worldwide networks and proceed to empower organizations to implement, measure and obtain their sustainability targets.

With its R&D and manufacturing steel powder manufacturing and recycling facility in Singapore, MolyWorks goals to help Singapore and native enterprises in lowering their carbon footprint via materials reuse and recycling. The foundry gives a variety of steel powders, together with customized alloys/small batches for R&D and excessive quantity for large-scale industrial manufacturing.
