Saint John Excessive Fall 2019


This weekend on campus we hosted Grade 12 IB Biology college students from Saint John Excessive College. I imagine this marks 33 years of collaboration with SJHS!

Whereas on campus the scholars accomplished subject work and carried out behaviour experiments within the lab. Beneath are a number of images of the scholars exhausting at work.

Within the lab getting ready to check intertidal zonation by figuring out and sketching seaweeds and invertebrates.

College students developed their very own experiments. Testing the osmoregulation capabilities of intertidal animals resembling sea stars and inexperienced crabs.

Testing the energy of varied echinoderms.

Do periwinkles desire a particular seaweed?

Does temperature have an effect on the flipping charge of sea stars?
